The National Off-Highway Vehicle Conservation Council (NOHVCC) in conjunction with the USDA Forest Service, Sam Houston National Forest will be conducting an OHV trails workshop in New Waverly, TX on November 1-3, 2016. The 3-day workshop will consist of classroom sessions on November 1, and field sessions on November 2-3, on the Sam Houston National Forest. Field sessions will involve walking to various sites on the trail system so bring your best hiking shoes, rain gear, and drinking water.

Lunch will be available at the Gulf Coast Trades Center on November 1, for a charge of $10 per person. The workshop will be held in a rural location so other lunch options are not readily available. If you do not plan on purchasing lunch please bring your own lunch to eat on site. Workshop participants will be responsible for packing their own lunch for the Wednesday and Thursday Field Sessions.

A block of rooms is available for workshop participants at the Fairfield Inn & Suites, 3010 I-45 North in Conroe, TX, at the federal per diem rate of $89.00/night. Please reserve your rooms by calling 936-756-3040. Room reservations must be made by October 14th
