The National Off-Highway Vehicle Conservation Council (NOHVCC) in conjunction with the US Forest Service, the US Bureau of Land Management, and Arizona State Parks will be conducting an OHV trails workshop in Anthem/Scottsdale, AZ on March 6-8 2018. Workshop funding is provided by a motorized trails grant, administered by Arizona State Parks, and awarded to NOHVCC. The 3-day workshop will consist of classroom sessions on March 6th at the Anthem Civic Building and field sessions on March 7-8, at the Wildcat Staging Area on the Cave Creek Ranger District of the Tonto National Forest. Field sessions will involve walking to various sites on the trail system so bring your best hiking shoes, appropriate clothing, and drinking water.
Lunch will be provided during the classroom session but participants must bring their own lunches to the field portions of the workshop.
Lodging options are available in Athem, Scottsdale, and North Phoenix. This is a very busy time of year in the Sun Valley so it is reccomended that you make room reservations as soon as possible.
